First I was met with a crash, a repeatable crash. It never went past my Saitek x52 detection, which made me suspicious that the problem relied in the way x-plane detects the joystick.
solution: unplug Saitek stick and the sim opened correctly... but not for a long time.
I tested the rendering settings and found out that:
1. HDR _ 4xMSS anti alias does not work correctly on my NVIDIA graphic card.
2. Changing shadow from "overlay" to anything higher will freeze the sim, so no crash report (filed a bug)
Ok, I thought, I'll just change the time from night to day... boy was I met with another surprise, x-plane freezed again.
So.. to sum it up:
I found out how to use the new crash report system (that was quicker than I hoped for).
You better wait for the next fixing patch before testing version 10.10xx build.
Stick with your 10.05r1 for now.
enjoy simming
