Yesterday I have uploaded the latest plugin build to the X-Plane Org site.
The plugin has gone some fixes and enhancements since build v3.0.160 to better support scripting.
I believe that the only way to better integrate scripting is by continuously writing missions using the implemented functionality, thus new needed function will be brought up to solve complexities.
Please be advice, that these builds are meant for Mission designers and there are two builds for the plugin:
- The release build and
- The debug binaries
The debug binaries should be used by designers that needs to see the output of "print" command from scripting. If you just want to fly a Mission you should just use the Release build.
To use the debug binaries, you need to unpack them into temporary folder and copy the "{file}.xml" into "{X-Plane}/Resources/plugins/missionx/64" folder.
Other requisites:
Windows users will need 2017 Redistribution libraries, while Linux users will need GCC v5.4.x or compatible binaries (should be present in most newer distributions - since 2016).
Enjoy
